LA LOPEZ OVERLOAD
Is it us or are we all feeling the ill-effects of full-on J-lo saturation? That tawny face needs to get out of ours before there's some serious beef. We chided her when On the 6 came out; we jammed with her when she told us that her love didn't cost a thing; we felt sad for her when the wedding bells stopped ringing...but, the velour sweatsuit line, rank restaurant, and forthcoming fragrance are making us want to turn our copy of The Wedding Planner into a one-way frisbee. It's only a matter of time until her french-manicured fingers and toes run out of pies to poke. The fragrance, Glow seems like a seriously bad idea if you ask us...look where Cher's Uninhibited is today, in the bargain bins at Marshall's. If Lady Lo doesn't watch out she could end up having her very own clearance center.

SPLENDORA'S BEHIND THE SPICE GIRLS
You can admit it now, you loved "Wannabe" and all the other Spice Girl's smash hits. You saw Spiceworld and compared it to a modern day Hard Day's Night. Enjoying the train wreck that was the Spice Girls afforded us hours of pop culture commentary. But, after Ginger left, things started going awry. The group suffered and fizzled leading all of the fabulous five on different paths. We all know what happened to Posh, she married that soccer dude and prances around with pursed lips and a 'rexed out body. Scary went through a messy divorce. Baby still has frosty lips and shows up on teenybopper shows. Ginger (as you can see above) is now blond, addicted to yoga, and is proud of her frighteningly emaciated figure (the tape measure around her hips measures 8"). And now we come to the only sane and talented one of the bunch, Sporty. We always said she was the only one who could really sing. Well, it seems that Mel's record company is complaining about her body image and is encouraging her to diet before her album is released. Mel said hell no and told those fools that her body is now healthy and she intends to keep it that way. Right 'O Mel! Way to stick it to 'em.

We are still in withdrawl from no Six Feet Under and The Sopranos. God bless the gals for steppin'-to so soon. Last season the show with the endless banter and too-hot-for-non-pay TV attitude made our hearts both sink and soar. We were thrilled when Carrie and Aiden were swell, and sad when Samantha's heart broke. However, all's well in TV land and the ladies are back to quell our curiosity and are satiating us with another dose of high-livin'. Although the season will be cut short due to SJP's pregnancy (sure doesn't look it to us) we are happy that we will have something to gossip about come Monday morning around 10am. Break out the Manolo's because Sex and the City is back!
