Steffany Toto, owner of the quaint, light-filled Union Street studio is a professional dancer as well as a fabulous and dedicated teacher. She offers a first-time complimentary session explaining the Pilates method of using mind, body, and breath. Steffany is a pro at consulting with you during your hour-long private session to pinpoint the areas you want to concentrate on. After working on the studio's combo trap table/reformer, we were sold on Pilates and Steffany!

SET in Motion

This week we are introducing a new little column that will hopefully become a fixture in Friday For Play. Each day when we come here to Splendora HQ at least one of us is wearing something that we will all comment upon and say, "You're the only one that could pull that off." So, we now feel the need to pass along some of our helpful fashion advice. So try this combo out (we already tested it out at a restaurant in S.F. called Kokkari):

Pair your best pair of heels with your best terry cloth/velour outfit. The look screams "I'm a casual, laid back gal but I have a saucy independent edge...I make my own trends." People will stare, they may mock you, but they can't kick you out...you got the nice shoes workin'.

Adorable Katie Holmes and hunky Chris Klein sure to make one good lookin' couple. They're past the whole denying that they are together phase and are currently putting other fabulously handsome Hollywood couples to shame. Who cares about Calista and Harrison, they've got to much baggage to contend with. J-lo and Affleck? That's toxic with a capitol T. Reese and Ryan? That's got power issues written all over it. It's much easier to enjoy the down home sweetness of this pairing because it actually appears to be somewhat normal. They're the same age, they both are teen heartthrobs, and they have both rocked the cover of Rolling Stone. We hope they stay together so they can fulfill our delusional opinions.

We've had a recurring section in the newsletter that has focused on celebs with too-long hair. Well, were back with yet another display of lank locks. This here is Miss Jordana Brewster; former love interest of Marky Mark, and current trophy of Yankee's star Derek Jeter. The B actress seems to have garnered much attention in the past few years for her high date-ability. But, if she does not cut that hair pronto we can assure you that she won't be catching Derek's fly balls for much longer.
