TEARS FOR SPEARS
For those of you who caught Britney's interview with Diane Sawyer, where after cracking her knuckles and fidgeting like a second grader (or someone hopped on bennies) Brit burst into tears, began fanning her face with her hands and asked to stop the interview, you'll know that this poor, overworked pop princess is going through a rough time. The waterworks were back on this week as Britney welled up after an adolescent fan handed her a moving poem at a NY in-store record signing. We could be cruel and make fun of her misfortune (and it is tempting) but it's pretty clear that anyone who has a camera held up to their face since childhood is bound to become broken.
More on the tears

MARY-LOUISE & BILLY: Part Deux
Remember how we reported last week that this was splitsville despite the fact that they had been dating for 7+ years and Mary L was prego with Billy's baby? Well we heard that the dissing came as a result of Billy falling in love with "pal" Claire Danes. Considering that Claire has been with Ben Lee for years and that they always appear to be totally in love wherever they go (remember when the Splendora spy saw them on the NY Subway canoodling?) we must admit that this is simply shocking!
