WHO NOSE?
Allegedly the unique statement making nose of Miss Carrie Bradshaw has recently been "fixed". Now, this is a serious allegation and we are very curious if it is in fact true. We love, love, love SJP's Grecian-ish schnozz and think that it sets her apart from all of those vanilla Hollywood actresses. However, notice in the photo at right that her nose is not ski-slope style a la Reese W., however, it is looking shall we say, a bit smoother, non? This sure is a mystery and hopefully you Splendora sleuths can help us nose it out.

THE BATTLE OF SHAKER BITES
It's no secret that we're suckers for reality shows so we were thrilled when our sweet pal Leslie invited us to the press screening of "The Battle of Shaker Heights," the latest from Affleck & Damon's "Project Greenlight." But then we sat through it. And to be fair, it wasn't quite the worst movie we've ever seen. No, that distinction would have to belong to Ben's "Gigli" or "Reindeer Games" or just about every movie he's ever starred in. So what made "Shaker Heights" so shaky? The lack of character development, disjointed story line, weak premise, or scenes with the boom in the shot? Yes, all of it, but that's not what bothered us the most. Twenty minutes into it we found ourselves wondering whether the Project Greenlight team purposely picks crummy scripts, difficult directors, and self-important writers because it makes a better cable show, which in turn captures far more viewers than any lame movie they could produce. And yet, knowing this, we willingly drink the "reality" Kool Aid to suspend disbelief and pretend that the show is really what it says it is (the search for raw, new talent) and not what it really is (an infomercial for Miramax to make us believe that they are still a groovy, little film company looking for top-notch talent and not a Disney owned conglomerate only interested in the bottom line).
