THE QUEEN OF POP TART
Madonna's taste in BBFs (best blonde friends) seems to be getting younger every year. First there was Stella McCartney, now an ancient 32 year old and previously one-third of the Madge, McC & Gwynnie P. team. In fact, Stella may have been the muse behind the blooming of former Michigan born Material Girl turned cultivated English Rose kabbalah worshipper. GP, the second third of the trio who also has a taste for tea and tartan, was rumored to have dropped off her older pal's speed dial just before Gwyn turned 30 this year. And now, 40+ year old Madonna has her sights set even lower as she embraces (literally) the 21 year old Britney Spears--first with a MTV kiss and now with a desperate duet called "Me Against the Music." So it's hardly a surprise that Britney is in the process of setting up London digs and considering life across the pond. We're just waiting for the day when Brit trades her Southern drawl for an English snip and when Queen Mother M swaps tart for teen and starts courting the Olsen Twins.
