RICH GIRLS vs. THE SIMPLE LIFE
TiVo is the bomb. It affords us the ability to view these two guilty pleasures back to back and then compare and contrast the utter hilarity and stupidity of Ally, Jamie, Paris, and Nicole. We could write a book on these moments (maybe Jamie can co-author?) and here are some pearls from the girls:
Notable Quotables:
Rich Girls: Ally wants to adopt. Maybe a baby from Cambodia, China, Ireland, Africa...etc. Jamie responds "Ohmigod Ally, then you could have theme night dinners, like Chinese night!"
Simple Life: Nicole and Paris short on cash in the supermarket whine and say "can't we just have it?" When the clerk refuses Paris drolls, "this is so lame."
On Working:
Rich Girls: Ally claims to be a worker bee. Between "producing" movies and hosting TV shows her therapist notes she has missed "most of her childhood". Ally cries.
Simple Life: Paris and Nicole sulk at Sonic. P shuffles up to cars in stilettos carrying food-filled trays on her toothpick legs. As one critic said, "what kind of advertisement does she makes for the food?"
With episodes to go we're bound to gather some more matieral...

ROBBING THE CRADLE
All of you OC fans must be in a twitter because your fave FOX stars are a real off-screen item. Granted his looks belie his age, however, let us remind you that Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan) is 25 and Mischa Barton (Marissa) is a mere 17! We hear that this pair was seen "making out on the dance floor" (it's not prom people) at a recent party. For a 17 year-old this is semi age-appropriate, but for a 25 year-old "man"? Totally scandalous.
