We commence a whirlwind of Splendora VIP company travel. Splendora's
Chief is deep in the South Pacific, our VP is in Cannes, and our Editor in
Chief is in Vermont. Yet somehow, we'll make our way to a hillside castle
in Tuscany to report poolside in early August. This week may be a bit SF
centric but please stay tuned for international coverage next week as well
as some Los Angeles VIP invitations ....

CLASSIC SNAPS FROM PROM '94?
This photo could have been taken at a variety of Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, proms, and sweet sixteens that all of us have attended. We could easily call the brunette Brandi and the redhead Ginger and no one would challenge us. However, their names are Nicole and Antonia Kidman. They would probably not appreciate Splendora's little trip down memory lane but we're sure all the boys are kicking themselves for not insisting on a slow dance.

SAN FRANCISCO PARTY COVERAGE
We all know New York is chic and Los Angeles is the pied-a-terre for celebrated partygoers but, hey, San Francisco has a fabulous quotient too. It's the HQ of yours truly but also party central for Papercity, SF's socialite page turner that hits the stands every month. Splendora was there to help celebrate Elizabeth Varnell's brilliant succession to Editor and Molly Lori to Associate Editor. The people were beautiful, the venue was fabulous (Fifth Floor) and the pink drinks from Belvedere kept on flowing. Congrats Elizabeth and Molly. Here's to making SF a fashion capital!
