HOPELESSLY DEVOTED TO YOU (I hope)
Just when you though that Demi's kids would be in need of some serious psychotherapy, enter Britney---LA's newest PTA mom. We bet that the wee Federlines are wondering why daddy suddenly ditched the cozy Corolla and started rolling in the childseat-less Hummer that sugar mama Spears bought him. In other tribulations of the trailer park twosome, B has been: 1) spied wearing a Mrs. Federline tank; 2) barefoot in a gas station bathroom- totally unchic and most certainly unhygenic and 3) described by the Germans as "Der Schlampen-Schock," which if our linguistics classes paid off, the phonology doesn't point to something positive. In BSs defense she's not a girl but not yet a woman so we'll give her a pass on thinking every guy she dates is her soulmate but even in Fifth Grade we knew not to get too out of control in the first stages of "going steady." And we certainly waited at least THREE week before taking his milk money (or in her case his name).

HAIRCUTS FROM THE UNEVEN BARS
On the close of this Olympiad we ponder the frozen in time hairstyles of the lady gymnast. All seem to perpetuate the bobby-pinned, cllpped, and modified cornrow look that came to the fore in the early 90's. Is it because they all have the Jennifer Aniston "Rachel" cut complete with multi-level layers that makes a smooth pony more difficult than sticking a dismount? Even if they are layer-less, what's with the metallic glitter hairspray? It's not Halloween here folks, it's an international sporting event. Leave the glitter and scrunchies at the back of your hair drawer where they belong. Bottom line is, if you're going to go for the double Khorkina, don't get a layered haircut. And we're not the only ones with this advice. Here is a direct quote from a gymnastics website, "Get familiar with hair gel! The girls' hair should be kept out of their faces--use gel liberally to create the "cement hair" effect."
