AND,
CUT!
Hollywood is a strange place where famous husbands and
famous wives are paid to demonstrate their "craft," which oft includes
going on location for months to play opposite charismatic, drop dead
gorgeous leading men and ladies. It's like being on a permanent, first
semester abroad in college except the players are a lot better looking and
you never have to struggle with a backpack. Most TV stars say they have an
easier time keeping an eye on their mates due to steady schedules and
in-studio taping. Apparently not the case with Kelly Ripa, whose husband,
Mark Consuelos, recently guest starred alongside Carmen Electra on "Hope &
Faith." Consuelos continued his liplock long after the director yelled
"Cut!' Oops.

THUMBS UP?
Brad
and Jen are breaking up, Britney is cracking up, and new hot couple Ellen
and Portia are shacking up. They even have their own comic relief system.
Instead of relying on the blinking applause sign for a boost of comedian
affirmation at her daily show tapings, Ellen now looks to her lady for
feedback. It seems that Portia has gained a permanent seat in the Ellen
audience and signals to the funny girl during her monologues to rate her
performance. We wonder if Ellen returns the favor on the set of Arrested
Development. Either way, these two lovebirds must be doing something right
as the stars of America's best TV comedies. Perhaps, in the end, they'll
have the last laugh.
