SPLENDORA SPY
Although we get them as frequently as Kelly Ripa
frowns, San Francisco was recently blessed with two excellent celebrity
sightings. Last Wednesday at the tres classy opening of the SF Ballet we
got wind that P. Hilton was in the house. During a break, we skittered in
our Badgley Mischka shoes to the V.I.P. area where we believed she might
be spotted texting Nicole Ritchie. Alas, we did not lay eyes upon her.
However, a pal did and simply exclaimed, "She is way too skinny." All hope
was not lost, that eve we ended up seeing Sean Hayes a.k.a., Jack from
Will and Grace. But, on Friday afternoon our luck was a wee bit better. We
were browsing through the racks at one of our favorite SoMa haunts and
noticed a pixie amongst the Marc Jacobs. Lo and behold it was teensy
Winona Ryder loading up on cashmere and cans of Coca Cola Classic.
Although she has amazing skin and is stunning, she was wearing some
Mary-Kate-esque getup that included an overall dress, a vintage concert
tee, wooly tights, and knee high boots. All in all, she was chatty, she
was sweet, and she paid.
