DON'T TOUCH THE MERCHANDISE
Now that she's suddenly gone from X-Tina to exemplary young artist, Christina Aguilera is speaking her mind (curiously, sans the hoodie accent) about an irritating trend infiltrating the music industry: the signature clothing line. Ms. Aguilera sees the foray into clothing design as an admittance of a career heading towards the can (tell that to Gwen Stefani, sister). Aguilera was quoted as saying, "I just think it's so tacky. I have always thought that it's one of those things that just makes people look like they don't know what to do anymore." This of course was a thinly disguised diss directed towards Jenny from the Runway, Sweet Kisses Simpson, and self-promoting Sean Jean. It's a good thing that she has the talent and career longevity to back this barb because no one, not even the ill-supported Pamela Anderson, wants to see embroidered chaps on the racks.

GEMINI'S TWIN REUNION?
Since Destiny's Child has always had rotating members, and given that Gwyneth Paltrow is all up in the music game these days, could this photo be a harbinger of the next generation of DC? From her stint on SNL playing Chantarelle, the third member of the Destiny's Child rip-off, Gemini's Twin, and her "Cruisin'" duet with Huey Lewis, we know that prim Paltrow has a soulful vibrato. Even Beyonce and Kelly played characters named Nokia and Dijonaise who were members of "Serendipity's Coincidence," the sworn arch enemies of the Twins. In our wildest dreams we envision a supergirl group where Paltrow can display her talent for foreign accents (somebody holla for Espana!) in the breakdown portions of the tracks. Brilliant.
