| JENNIFER & THE TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT All of you high school theatre geeks remember the crazy-long song from Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat that goes on and on about all of the beautiful colors in Joseph's biblical-era couture cape. The lyrics go above and beyond the realm of the regular rainbow and drops colors like- ochre, fawn, azure, and russet (J.Crew so pinched their Autumn palette from this number.) While many of Joseph's hues are incorporated in the poncho pictured, the one shade that is overtly missing is the color heinous. Perhaps why this piece looks so goofy is because it's not even chilly yet, it's still like, 80 degrees in New York. And speaking of out of place (PR translation: miscast), the critic's reviews of Jenny's new film, An Unfinished Life are in and they're almost as much of a stinker as this fashion statement. | EVERLASTING LOVE Before she goes to the clink, the Queen Bee's biggest fan, Marc Jacobs, has created a t-shirt to celebrate her royal image and attitude. His aptly titled "Marc Jacobs Loves Lil' Kim" T-Shirt, retailing at $20, features Kim posing in a surprisingly demure manner (considering her past outfit choices.) All proceeds from the sale of shirts goes toward the door, NYC's premiere youth development agency. Even if you're still perplexed as to how these seemingly polar opposites managed to become friends, you may want to jump on the MJ/Kim bandwagon before she's locked up and this collectors item is harder to find than Katie Holmes' common sense. Resident cool cat Rusty, Splendora's Production Artist, is sportin' one today. The Dynamic Duo |
