Even though it's officially fall, summer has finally arrived in San Francisco. After weeks of fog we're happily soaking up the 75 degree days. But one Officemate is missing all of the sun, our head honcho is flying high over the Atlantic to attend a wedding in Venice. You can read about Gina's layover adventure in Amsterdam here.
DOUBLE VISION And while we cannot take complete credit for discovering the uncanny likeness between Nelson and Koi's customers of the year, Nicky n' Kim, (we spied the discovery on Conversations About Famous People), we thought their resemblance was too redonkulous to go without a mention. For real, Nicky and Kim look like Nelson! Those girls are totally frontin' because that pose looks like it was ripped straight from the band's Big Bopper fold-out poster. And just to refresh your memory, twins Gunnar and Matthew Nelson (a.k.a. Nelson) were a dynamite rock band circa 1992 who had a string of hits including the classic, "(I Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection." But once grunge came to town their "soaring sibling harmonies" got booted off of the Billboard 100. It's too bad we can't get rid of the aforementioned celebutante "twins" with a mere shift in popular music. Conversations About Famous People

LOHAN THE LYRICIST Little Lindsay Lohan is busy filming a video for her new single "Confessions of a Broken Heart," a sad ditty about her clink-livin' pops. Here is an excerpt of the heartfelt lyrics, "I wear all your old clothes your polo sweater, I dream of another you the one who would never (never), leave me alone to pick up the pieces, a daddy to hold me, that's what I needed." First of all, Double-L ain't wearing a lot of old, oversized polo sweaters, they simply don't provide enough cleave for the paparazzi to snap. But the "daddy to hold me" part? That's the ticket! This totally explains why she dropped Fez for stellar Hollywood dads like Christian Slater, Bruce Willis, and Colin Farrell. Listen to Lohan
