| Five nights in NYC. Three cases of champagne. One dynamite party. Team Splendora hit the big city to host an affair for our East Coast editor friends and special VIPs. Lucky for us, all of the ladies got into the Splendora spirit and helped to fill out this week's Style Forecast. With goodie bags galore, bite-size cupcakes with sprinkles, and the special "Splendora Sling" cocktail, a good time was had by all. More photos coming soon on our Party Pix page! |

| COLD AS ICE CHLOE Chloe Sevigny just might be our favorite offbeat actress. The flaxen-haired beauty plays hero to both hard-core fashion followers and artsy girls who embrace her eccentricities. While we applaud her ability to vacillate among different image extremes - strutting down the runway at Dolce & Gabbana one moment, engaging in unmentionable onscreen activities with V. Gallo the next - some of Chloe's recent remarks seem bizarre given her public persona. She of Brown Bunny fame recently berated Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger for their "lack of respect for the institution of marriage." While we here at Splendora are far from prudish, Chloe's comments disrupt our perception of her as a girl who normally flouts social convention. We liken it to (hypothetically) finding out that Paris Hilton actually harbors a dislike for fame, or that Jessica Simpson spends her evenings reading James Joyce for kicks. Quotable Chloe | SALES & SAUCY HAPPENINGS NEW YORK SHOPPING TOUR Turkey, tinsel, and the Torah: The holiday season is upon us so shop early (and often!) at these NYC haute spots: BLUE TREE: Former '80's teen-queen Phoebe Cates Klein recently opened this one-stop-shop for gifts on the Upper East Side. SAN FRANCISCO KAMALASPA Splendora Special With a slew of holiday parties just around the corner, you’ll want to make sure that you look and feel amazing for each fab soiree. LOS ANGELES & SAN FRANCISCO SPA DAY The modern woman has mastered the art of multitasking, but we never thought it would be possible to contribute to charity and get a facial simultaneously. We happily welcome Spa Day on Wednesday, November 9th, when a host of participating spas in Los Angeles and San Francisco will donate 20% of the day's proceeds to Aid for AIDS. Book one spa treatment (or more!) and indulge in a truly pleasurable philanthropic experience. For more information, and for a list of participating locations, visit spaday.org.
