Clearly we have babies on the brain. Not only is Hollywood
experiencing a baby boom of epic proportions, but Splendora is getting so
close to having our very own bambino. Splendora queen, Gina P., really knows how to keep
up with the trends. And before that kid can say, "more cupcakes mom!"
(he will not be allergic to wheat, sugar, or lactose), she'll be
shipping him off to go out and play with little baby Stefani-Rossdale and
wee one, Moses Martin. And even though motherhood will open up a whole new
set of emotions for our beloved Gina, we think that she'll steer clear of
any future play dates with Suri Cruise- her parents are weird.

W.W.K.D
What will Katie do now that baby Suri is here? Will she still court the photogs while shopping at department stores and getting caffeinated at Starbucks (those Venti-sized drinks are so not half-caf.)? We wonder if she'll continue to be force fed bloat-heavy carbs and milkshakes in order to maintain a little post-prego jiggle so that the "baby Cruise ruse" can stay the course. Tommy needs to keep stoking the fires. It's imperative for him to convince people that he's a manly-man, a bonafide action hero, a dude's dude who can get his lady prego (cue the maniacal laugh.) Hey, Mission: Impossible III opens soon and he's got to fill movie theatre seats so he can eventually drive the Brinks truck straight to the Scientology Celebrity Center to unload his back-end cash earnings. But W.W.K.D? Will we ever see her act again or does her "contract" relegate her to benign film roles and 5.32 years of nappy changing? We do know one thing for sure, Kate Cruise's trips to the Barneys shoe department will be far more comfortable without the annoyingly rotund prosthetic belly getting in the way of grabbing the Gucci.

AHOY, FASHION MATEYS
Ay ay capt'n, get ready to set sail this season with nautical inspired gear. First mates like Cameron Diaz, Pink, and Sarah Jessica Parker are already on board and we don't think they're jumping ship any time soon. We've spotted navy and white stripes, anchor details, and sailor dresses all over the red carpet. Even if you don't think you can pull off the nautical look (horizontal stripes petrify you, anchor tattoos seem painful), we assure you that where there is a will, there is always a way. Sail on!
Stripes
1. Lux Extra Long Striped Tunic: Rock star Pink wore a similar red and black striped dress to the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.
2. LOVE from Ya-Ya: Cameron Diaz paired a striped tank top just like this one, under a blazer to add a bit of flair to her seafaring look.
Shoes
3. KORS Michael Kors Bleekers: When stilettos are just too hard to handle (killer on concrete), a cobalt espadrille captures the seaside look without any of the pain.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE POPSTARS GONE?
Indie rock is slowly and steadily reclaiming its place as the musical genre du jour, marking a positive trend overall, but leaving many a closet Top 40 maven starved for a good ol' fashioned saccharine pop hit. Listening to Britney's "Born To Make You Happy" the other day brought us back to 1999, the gilded age of pop. That year record labels churned out a veritable battalion of peppy young stars, armed for attack with catchy tunes, rock-your- body dance moves, and performances with pyro and snakes.
