What to Beauty: Nature-Girl Botanical Body Lotion

Luxe body moisturizers are part of my daily routine and Nature-Girl's Flower Power concoction is my latest lotion obsession. The Neroli Botanical Body Lotion boasts a rich blend of herbal extracts, organic oils and organic aloe vera. I'm here to report that it feels fabulous (creamy and rich) and smells great (subtle, natural scent that fades after absorbtion so you can still spritz on your fave perfume). Nature-Girl has been high on my list of must-try beauty brands and I'm sure I'll be back to share my favorites from the rest of the line.

What to Beauty: Chanel Hydramax + Active Teinte

Tinted moisutrizer is a must in my book and Chanel's new HYDRAMAX + ACTIVE TEINTÉ is amazing! I love it because it has SPF 15 (protection against UVA and UVB rays) and it's the perfect consistency—not too heavy, not too greasy, with just the right amount of creamy moisture. It also smells nice. Choose from three sun-kissed shades to give your skin a healthy glow. Chanel's celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee, who freshenes up the faces of Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller, recommends using this wonder product as an alternative to foundation during warmer months. Sounds like a plan.

What to Beauty: Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I've used many eye makeup removers and my favorite used to be the Almay Non-Oily Makeup Remover pads but I have a new fave - the Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Eye Makeup Remover Pads.  They just make your eyes feel great while you're removing makeup.  The Almay pads are still great for the price, but it is a treat to use the Origins pads every once in a while.

What to Makeup: Stila Kitten Silk Eye Shadow

Being my first summer back on the East Coast I am quickly remembering what it is like to live in humidity. All flat ironing efforts are quickly put to waste, strategic plans for your work commute have to be made so that you don't arrive sweaty and gross, and your makeup now has the power to just melt right off of you. I love a subtle line of liquid liner but after I came home from a post work press appointment with humiliating black smudges across both of my eye lids I contemplated giving up my trusty liner for good. To keep my runaway kohl in check I tried Stila's Kitten Silk eye shadow and "Voila!" It goes on easily as a liquid then turns to a smudge resistant powder that has kept my little cat eye in place all hot sticky NYC day long.

What to Beauty: Rodin Olio Lusso

Designed by the renowned stylist and former fashion editor, Linda Rodin, Olio Lusso is a decadent blend of eleven skin essential oils. Beware the sticker shock, at 130 bucks per oz this wonder serum ain't cheap, but take heed that this beauty big wig knows what she's talking about. Just a few drops after your a.m. beauty regime and your skin is supple, soft, heavenly scented, and glowing like one of those happy leaping models caught mid air in the pages of American Vogue.
