Healthy Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Typtophan- and indulgence-induced food comas are common after effects of a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner. While our editors fully support the pursuit of food-related hedonism, it's also nice to balance out heapings of stuffing, cream, and butter with lighter fare. Dazed and Confused Oxfam Auction

Dazed and Confused Oxfam Auction

Among Splendora editors' staple reads is Dazed and Confused, the London-based magazine that has been serving up savvy musings on style, art, and culture for the past two decades. To coincide with the publication's 20th anniversary, Dazed asked some of their fellow aesthetes and creative collaborators to contribute one item they felt best represents the last 20 years. The goods will be auctioned off on eBay starting Sunday, November 20th, with a Swarvoski encrusted lighter from Donatella Versace among the pieces whose proceeds will benefit Oxfam. Click here for a preview of what your Watch List can expect during the auction's duration.

Gidsy

Gidsy

Gidsy is a e-commerce site dedicated to the sale of  experiences, from small group yoga classes to neighborhood walking tours, all priced at a pittance and hosted by city dwellers in the know. Launched in Berlin and still in its nascency, you can expect to see a New York version very soon in addition to other worldwide locations. The clever concept is a boon for locals and travelers alike, allowing activity oriented explorers the chance to delve into a city's social fabric in hyper-local, ultra unique ways. Check out what our friends across the pond have to offer and keep an eye out for U.S. regions in the near future.

Christian Louboutin Custom Bar

Christian Louboutin Custom Bar

As Christian Louboutin devotees, our editors did a triple-take after catching sight of this custom made bar, designed exclusively for the Grey Goose Winter Ball. Its interior "sole" is painted in Louboutin's signature red, naturally, while its cork-esque exterior is decorated with Egyptian hieroglyphics. Unfortunately, the boozy piece of home decor isn't available for sale, as it's set to be auctioned off at the Ball this Saturday, October 29th, will all proceeds benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation. If you can make it to Londontown for the soiree, gather your pence and pounds and place a bid on the one-of-a-kind stiletto.
