My Hero

I have a thing for tall, brooding, mysterious men. Ladies, you must know who I'm talking about - the stranger with a Herculean physique, whose stare practically pierces your skin, and who strolls into the room wearing...a body-hugging rubber outfit? Okay, so it doesn't hurt that the man beneath the ridiculous getup is the ultra-handsome Christian Bale (looking delightfully healthy and buff after his shocking 63 pound weight-loss for "The Machinist"). I will be running to see "Batman Begins" this weekend, not only because it stars the aforementioned super-hottie, but for the rest of the stellar cast (including Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Katie "Miss Scientology 2005" Holmes), and because it is helmed by "Memento" director Christopher Nolan. Hopefully the combination of these A-list elements will revive the Batman franchise, forever erasing the stain that Clooney left behind. Now if only Bale would offer me a private tour of the Batcave... 06.16.2005
