Style: Shop LA: The Twelfth Step

Last Thursday night I attended a fabulous soiree in celebration of my friend Beth Whiffen's new shoe boutique called The Twelfth Step...for Shoe Addicts. It is very dangerous to have such a phenomenal store within walking distance of my pad. The luxe decor provides a beautiful backdrop for a jaw-dropping selection of shoes and handbags. There are plenty of temptations, including goods by Rupert Sanderson, Christian Lacroix, Rickard Shah, Maloles, and many more, as well as gorgeous handbags from Anna Corinna and 3.1 Phillip Lim, among others. I am particularly fond of the Chaconne sandal by LD Tuttle. Tiffany Tuttle is one of my favorite L.A.-based shoe designers, which you may recall from a previous blog entry. I'm looking forward to meeting with her this week to see the upcoming fall collection.
