Style: Voom by Joy Han: LA Fashion Week Fall 2007

Designer Joy Han debuted her colorful Fall 2007 Voom collection at the Smashbox tents. The models wore striking blonde wigs in polished bob cuts. Flirty frocks in vibrant plaids, stripes, and other unique prints provided eye-catching looks for the attention-seeking style set. My favorite pieces, from a series of grey and black dresses, are a tad more subdued but certainly not plain thanks to beautiful printed graphics on the front of each piece. I also like the long-sleeved thermal dress (in black and white) with a large cameo graphic printed on the front. I definitely won't be sporting the thigh-high leather boots, but I think the dress would look great over slim-cut jeans. Though Han focused on lots of babydoll dresses and girly silhouettes, she also featured two styles of high-waisted, pinstriped pants and some interesting coats and jackets.
