What to Eat: Green & Black's Toffee Bar

At some point my chocoholic tendancies went ultra-luxe and the old standby, mass-market brands simply no longer satisfied my cravings. You can call me a chocolate snob now because if I'm going to indulge in the delicious treat it has to be worth the calories. Green & Black's new Toffee Bar is absolutely worth it. Made from the very best organically-grown cocoa beans, specifically Criollo and Trinitario varieties, this wonder bar is a blend of 34% milk chocolate with crispy bits of delish toffee. Just one little square brings ultimate satisfaction.

What to Eat: Clothespin Chopsticks

I consider myself a pretty seasoned chop stick user, but can only operate wooden sticks. The plastic ones leave me spending half my meal fishing for a single noodle, which can be frustrating. Here comes my dilemma: I hate having to use two pieces of wood per meal, waistful right? For those of you in a similar predicament, try these brightly colored Clothes Pin chopsticks from CB2. They're easy to use, easy on the eyes and are re-usable. Chop suey just got a lot more interesting.

What to Eat: Pomegranate Chip Ice Cream

Pomegranate Chipe ice creamOhmygod. I've died and gone to heaven, and it's all thanks to the insistence of a friend that I try the Pomegranate Chip ice cream from Haagen-Dazs' Reserve line. Besides the lip-smacking pomegranate, the ice cream is also flavored with yummy grapes and cranberries. But what really makes it memorable are the chunks of dark chocolate scattered throughout. Delicious.

What to Eat: Vegan Red Velvet Cupcakes

Ever since I set eyes on the red velvet armadillo cake in Steel Magnolias, I've been obsessed. And once red velvet cupcakes became the hip dessert, I was elated. I'm no vegan, but try to eat dairy-free when possible, and was desperate to find a vegan recipe to fulfill my red velvet desires. I found one, and it's fantastic. There's even a 'cream-cheese' frosting recipe!

What to Eat: Goat Cheese Crostini with Blood Orange & Black Pepper Marmalade

The other night I tried a dish similar to this one and it was absolutely phenomenal! You don't have to use this recipe per se (even though it looks delicious!), but the combination of soft goat cheese, crunchy bread, and sweet marmalade will make your tastebuds quite happy.
