What to Home: Blooms In A Bag

After unsuccessfully trying to grow my own herbs in my kitchen a few months ago, I think I might be willing to get back on the horse and give these new Blooms In A Bag from MXYPLYZYK (pronounced mix-ee-pliz-ik) a shot. Seriously, nothing could be easier: Just mix the enclosed packet of seeds with water right in the bag, and boom! (Well, not boom, it'll take a few weeks, but you get my point) You have some fragrant and delicious herbs that you've grown indoors, right in a small leak-proof bag. No pots, no soil, no mess. Just take a tip from me and remember to water them, because they apparently die if you don't. Who knew?

What to Home: Jonathan Adler Anger/Joy Mug

Sometimes you wake up fresh as a daisy, ready to greet the day with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face. And then sometimes you wake up and you just want to stomp on that daisy and strangle anyone who comes at you with anything even remotely resembling a smile on their face. Now there's a coffee cup that matches both of these morning moods: The Jonathan Adler Anger/Joy Mug. With Joy on one side, Anger on the other, and some strong java in the middle, you'll be ready to go in the morning no matter what side of the bed you woke up on.

What to Home: Crate and Barrel Vino Wine Glasses

The snobby part of me always thinks it's a little funny when I go to an event or party where they serve wine glasses in plastic cups. It just seems slightly wrong to serve something as classy as wine in something other than a wine glass. A clever and fun upgrade to the plastic cup are these Vino Wine Glasses from Crate and Barrel. Cute little tumblers with the word "vino" printed on the side, it's a unique and slightly kitschy new way of enjoying your evening Pinot Noir in style.

What to Home: Anthropologie Drip-Drop Lantern

When I saw this antique-looking Drip-Drop Lantern from Anthropologie, I thought it looked like an old-fashioned birdcage. Used to house candles instead of feathered fowl, this lantern adds a strong dose of style and class to your decor, as well as flattering illumination. Plus, you won't have to clean up after any messy birds.

What to Home: Mini Bar Side Table

Mini Bar Side Table

This Leonhard Pfeifer Mini Bar Side Table is functional and amazing in many ways, two of which make this $450 investment much easier to digest. 1. this applies to you city dwellers, or people living in small quarters -- as much as you want an in house mini bar, it's hard to find the space for one, that is without sacrificing another space holder like the couch or the coffee table. With this Mini Bar Side Table, you kill two birds with one stone, because the bar hides inside a side table --brilliant!! 2. Sometimes it just takes too much energy to get off the couch to refill your pinot, or add a little whiskey to your manhattan, so simply bend down to refill, because the bar is right there!!! Enough convincing, happy drinking.
