They refuse to hide behind "I'm not wearing frames" frames. Women in Barcelona - myself included - are damn proud of their optical deficiency; thick, bold, exaggerated eyeglass styles are more ubiquitous here than in the States, and ladies wear the style well. The '50s-inspired Harper model from Oliver Peoples is a more subtle take on the trend, but your local lens 'n frames store, like C by Karina in L.A. or Alain Mikli in New York, will have a bevy of cool ones to choose from. 09.06.2007
