What to Gobble and Guzzle: Alice Waters, The Art of Simple Food

Love her or hate her, concur with her outspoken philosophy on food or not, no one can deny that Alice Waters is one of the most influential figures in the culinary world, and has been for the past thirty years or so. The latest cookbook from Chez Panisse's kitchen is The Art of Simple Food, a collection of recipes which aren't, as the title suggests, complicated and emphasize the importance of seasonal, local ingredients. It appears that Waters' "delicious revolution" continues to blaze ahead with vigor.
