What to Jewelry: Mawi

I love the British sensibility of Mawi. Designer Thang-Mawi has quite knack for creating pieces that look as though they were dug out of Gran's jewelry box; intricate paste brooches dangle from chains laced with velvet or cameos linked by a tangle of pearls to a cluster cabochons. Yes they all have a traditional, heirloom quality but it is the jumble of those classic costume jewelry elements in each piece that make them feel distinctly modern.
