What to Wear: Jenni Kayne Tap Short

Ever since Chanel's SS07 ad campaign with the stunning Freja Beha I have wanted to try out the black tap short for work. Freja was modeling a black sequin pair and though that maybe appropriate for a night out or a weekend at Coachella I have a feeling my superiors may not take to a sparkly behind running around the office. Jenni Kayne's black satin number is the perfect mid road between hot pant and business gear. The length shows off just enough leg without getting cheeky but it is high enough that under a close cropped blazer it will come off as rock n' roll chic not spring time in the 80's business suit dowdy.
