Rain or shine, snow or no snow, these Robert Clergerie Mila Two Tone Wedges are a must-have, right now! The perfect patent leather strap with square top buckle and hints of metallic, mixed with the indented wedge leave me just about, well, to tell you the truth: just about $500 away from a lust-worthy shoe.

What to Wear: She-bible Martine Coat

She-bible Martine Coat

When temperatures dip so low it hurts to venture outside (like today in SF for example--really, I'm not being dramatic here), all I want to do is cozy up in the most fashionable and warm coat imaginable, or the closest thing to wrapping myself up in a blanket (think of the Snuggie, but something you could actually wear in public). Leave it to She-bible to keep me warm in this cold weather cool Martine coat. The best part is: if you're sick of wearing the black version, just flip it over and sport the same coat, but in white. And you can stick your arms through it too, just like the Snuggie!!

What to Home: Ants On My Cup and Saucer

Ants On My Cup and Saucer

It may not be your style to prank your friends while they eat (sorry for you), but for those of you who enjoy a little mealtime joke, then these Ants On My Cup and Saucer are the perfect dinner party entertainment. The ants were individually hand painted by the designer Re Jin, then transferred onto decal paper. I can't say that I've seen a more realistic fake ant.

What to Note: 2009 Whomi Compact Agenda

2009 Whomi Compact Agenda

While we're all addicted to the electronic planners/calendars on our crackberries and iPhones, what if you forget your phone at home?? What would one do?? The horror! Well, you can refer to your travel sized, hard copy planner--you carry one right? These Whomi Compact Agendas fit the bill when it comes to all the features needed in a planner, with the added bonuses like yellow reminder notices and room to fill in other people's schedules--if that's what you're into. We hate to say it, but with a calendar as functional (and stylish) as this one, you might actually be on time.

What to DVD: The Four Seasons

The Four Seasons

Warning: This post may be fueled by my recent Alan Alda obsession. But with that said, The Four Seasons is a must-see flick. Originally released in 1981, this film follows the close-knit relationship of three couples who despite their constant bickering, decide to spend every holiday together, four times a year. You have to filter through a lot of screaming, nagging and analysis but in the end this film hits home and makes you appreciate the importance of good friends, and a good vacation.

What to Travel: Big Basin Redwood State Park

Big Basin Redwood State Park

All my boyfriend and I really wanted for Christmas this year was a couple days away, away from the TV, the neurotic family, the over-eating, the pressure to buy presents. With family only 500 miles away, and "in-laws" in New Jersey celebrating Christmas with family we don't really know, this year seemed like a great time to escape. We spent our two days away camping at Big Basin State Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and I'd recommend this place to anyone. Maybe not during the cold of winter, unless you're insane like us and enjoy staying locked up in a tent cabin reliant on the warmth of a wood burning stove. The tent cabins come with your own indoor stove, two double platform beds, a good size table, elevation and proper venting. They're not cheap (when it comes to camping), but I have a feeling your money will be going to a much better place than if you opt to spend a night at the...say....Motel 6. If traveling during the on-season, make sure to book in advance; but if you're thinking of a place to get away next year during Christmas, no reservation necessary. The greatest part: we got all that we wanted for Christmas, no credit cards required.

What to Wear: Mayle Mirabelle Dress

Mayle Mirabelle Dress

We apologize for our lack of Mayle posts lately, we've been too busy swimming in our own pool of fashion tears at the mere thought of Mayle's final season, sniff sniff. But we're fighting through it, and proclaiming our love for this beautiful Mirabelle Dress. It may be 695 bucks, but just think of it as a collector's piece--something you can share with your children someday. Alright, a tad dramatic, we know.

What to Wear: United Bamboo Pleated Pant

United Bamboo Pleated Pant

Forget those skinny jeans of yesteryear, it's all about the baggy pleated look. The Spring '09 runways were covered in cuffed, loose-fitting pants--which means it's due time to either 1.dig up those pleated pants you wore in high school and never thought you'd see again 2. click over and buy United Bamboo's version seen here, or 3. hop on over to the Goodwill, because we know for a fact that you'll find a nice pair there.

What to Shoe: Stella McCartney Brown Boots

Stella McCartney Brown Boots

As a 15+ year vegetarian, I'll be the first to say (with an educated voice I must add) that vegan footwear isn't the easiest thing to find. I know I know, I've sang her praise countless times on this blog, but it's time to reiterate: Stella McCartney's chic vegan shoes are the best. These Brown Boots are testament. The perfectly sculpted heel and great mid-calf length is ideal, and like everything else in the mid-recession world of fashion--they're on sale!
