Decades Inc. is the place for all fashion fetishists. If it's Pucci pants you want, let Cameron know in advance; they move almost as fast as the cherished Kelly bags. The second floor atelier, designed by the influential Iris Fingerhut, is a gallery of such vintage as Ossie Clarke, Hermés, and Gucci. Even the dressing room, with its lucite doors and Jacques Adnet vanity, is artsy eye-candy. The quality of the '60s and '70s collectibles by such legendary designers as Andre Courréges, Thea Porter, and Paco Rabanne is astonishing. If '80s creations by Alaïa equal fashion bliss, schedule in a Sunday visit when Decades is closed other than by appointment only. Just below, Decadestwo houses last season's hottest tickets (Chloé, Jil Sander, Gucci, etc.) for around a quarter of the original cost. Plan to spend a few hours between the two stores; it is a trip through time and an adventure in sophistication.
