Though most lush in the fall and spring, the canyons are always beautiful, perpetually undergoing a graceful metamorphosis, never losing their spiritual energies. Home to the ancestors of the Agua Caliente Cahuilla Indians, the three canyons have an energy many describe as peaceful and centering. A wonderful setting for meditation and contemplation, the Indian Canyons feature twelve hiking trails; the most private of the three, located in Murray Canyon, opens up to a beautiful waterfall known as Seven Sisters. Palm Canyon features more palm trees than anywhere else in the world, perfect for appreciating the canyon when blanketed by the cool shade. Visit the perennial Andreas Creek, located in Andreas Canyon, for a dip in the clear natural spring. Souvenirs like fetishes and dream catchers may be picked up at Palm Canyon's Trading Post.
