Step off of splendid Canon Drive into this little salon and you'll dive into some of the hottest hair happenings in the city. Don't let the bustle fool you; everyone is super-friendly and eager to please--even with it being color-guru Louis Licari's (national spokesperson for Clairol's professional product line) place of beauty. We had a ball chatting about handbags and music with stylist Linda, whose hubby is John Ramone. Michael, our colorist, made sure to ask lots of questions before taking us to the utter heights of bleached blondeness. He even mixed in an anti-inflammatory beforehand, which eased the burn significantly. A small army of assistants, all of whom must train for three years before wearing the colorist crown, constantly passes through the space, sweeping and wiping down everything in sight. Although a visit with Licari himself runs from $110 to $350, our double-process coloring, style, and blow dry rang in at $265. Our favorite part, we must admit, was the blow dry. We walked out of the salon feeling like we ruled Beverly Hills!
