Renamed Shampoo by NEZI Salon, Shampoo is the type of place that makes you want to have your hair blown-out before you even enter their stark white space. Owners Shaoul and Shalom Arbib are gorgeous, and somehow, they've managed to attract an equally gorgeous staff and clientele. The retro-vibe energizing this place is an odd blend of futuristic white-on-white and kitschy camp; we love the carefree attitude of the hip sing-along staff bouncing around to disco tunes. And we are absolutely sold on the fact that in less than half an hour, our hair was shampooed and blown-out, tresses pin-straight perfect. Never before have we seen a faster blow-dry, but we didn't really want to leave. The eye candy, lively atmosphere, and more-than-fair prices will keep us coming back for more.
