Sushi Roku
Sushi Roku is one of those Japanese restaurants where the wait staff dotes on you, replacing plates with a mere smidgen of sauce with squeaky-clean ones. Lavish floral arrangements and an intricate rock sculpture, which, when peered into, turns out to be a small Koi pond, flank the chic bar, where eager patrons await free tables or seats at the sushi bar. No one leaves without trying the Roppongi, Sushi Roku's version of a martini made of cold sake and dry Vermouth served with sticks of ginger. Though the bar is a fun watering hole to visit, we recommend making reservations as to not waste any time before ordering unusual delights such as the toro and jalapeno roll or Kushiyaki (garlic lamb) skewers.
