The first reservations are taken at 3 o'clock and the last at 4, but once you're there, stay and chat as long as you'd like. When making your reservations, we'd suggest taking your tea alfresco. The best spots are the gazebo-like booths that overlook the courtyard, where there always seems to be a wedding. As part of the fixed price menu, a three-tier platter is served piled high with traditional English fixings such as finger sandwiches, exquisite scones, an assortment of cookies, and of course the tea, although champagne is also offered.
