Ceci Cela Patisserie
French pastry chef Laurent Dupal first bestowed his sweet gifts upon downtown Manhattan in 1993. Since then, Dupal and business partner Hervï ½ have gained a devoted following of discerning foodies who line up out the door for delicious orange brioche, quiches, croissants and--oh yes--sorbet. Dupal frequently varies the inventory to surprise the regulars. Head to the back of the warm shop and bask in the French country dï ½cor and conversations of the bustling staff. For those unfortunately positioned too far from the shop to snag the last brioche, you can also find Ceci-Cela's breakfast goods and cakes at such shops as Oren's Cafï ½, Cafï ½ Bari, and Prete a Manger. Dupal desired to create a place of happiness with the ambience of a "big family." After tasting any of his delicacies, you'll beg him to adopt you.
