As fashion director of Gen Art, the leading arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging talent, Trimble has helped kick off the careers of some of fashion's finest. Designers who've debuted at a Gen Art show include Zac Posen, RebeccaTaylor, Louis Verdad, Rodarte, Milly, Phillip Lim, Twinkle by Wenlan, Duckie Brown, Hollywould, Sari Gueron, Chaiken and Shoshanna, to name a few. That's not a roster to sneeze at. This season, Gen Art is sponsoring a show featuring a single designer - Camilla Staerk - instead of their usual group outing. Based on Trimble's knack for backing winners, we bet big things are store for Ms. Staerk.
