Fashion critics Cathy Horyn (of The New York Times) and Suzy Menkes (of the International Herald Tribune) tend to get the most, errr, ink, due to their high-profile publications. But there are many other fashion scribes whose coverage can make or break a designer (or at least give them pause for thought), including Robin Givhan of The Washington Post (aka, the first fashion journalist to have won The Pulitzer), Terry Agins of The Wall Street Journal, Hilary Alexander of the UK Telegraph, Sally Singer of Vogue, Lynn Yaeger of The Village Voice and Bridget Foley of WWD, to name just a few.
