Klaxons, hot band on the London music scene

Here's some intelligence from Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes. When I asked him about what's hot in London, he replied that he always got his "hot" tips from his 21 year old daughter who attends the swanky St. Martins design academy (Stella McC's alma mater). Her answer? Klaxons, an English band with an updated Psychadelic Furs sound who released their debut single "Gravity's Rainbow," in March 2006. I just bought their album "Myths of the Near Future" and I'm digging it. --Gina Pell, Splendora Founder, Week of 5/16/08
