4. Thigh High Leather

Ever since I saw the Chanel Ready to Wear Fall Collection 2003 I've been obsessed with leather legwarmers. They never quite caught on but lately we've been seeing leather-like leggings on Mary Kate and all over the show "Gossip Girl." (We featured this look as What to Accessory in today's newsletter). It takes a long thin leg to pull these off but if like most of us you have bigger thighs than forearms, they'll still look hot under a bum-covering mini or tunic, topped off with a slimming jacket/blazer. For something in between I've been eyeballing these leather, satin, and rubber Jean Paul Gaultier stiletto boots.  --Gina Pell, Splendora Founder, Week of 5/2/08
