Charity may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Donatella Versace but La Designer has come up with a brilliant idea to raise money for kids using the proceeds from their own creativity. DV distributed over a thousand canvases and paint to needy children in the U.S. and China. Their designs will be featured on Versace totes which will be sold for roughly $200 on Gilt Groupe in October. All proceeds from the sale will go to Starlight and the One Foundation. --Gina Pell, Founder, 6.26.2009
