1. Duran Duran Mark RonsonOne of my BFFs is friends with Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes so when Nick came to town last year, we all had dinner. Nick Rhodes has always been my favorite Duran member, he's also the most charming, intelligent, and down-to-earth guy. Nick was in town again this week and we had dinner again, along with his lovely manager Wendy Laister (a rockstar in her own right who managed bands like Aerosmith, Guns & Roses, and other R&R legends). Wendy told me about a recent collaboration with hipster DJ-Producer-Musician Mark Ronson. Duran Duran will be releasing the Ronson collaboration of new material later this year. I'll let you know the exact date soon. |
