If you work hard for the money (so hard for it, honey) but find yourself feeling less-than-chipper at the end of each day, you may want to consider the results of a study conducted in Great Britain. According to its findings, working 11 or more hours per day doubles your risk of major depression. Those pulling "fat salaries" aren't immune from feeling morose when they burn the candle at both ends, either: "long hours at the office wiped out the protective effect of income," the study found. If it's little pleasures that truly matter, perhaps it's time to concentrate more on quality of life than quality designer clothing.
