What to Watch: Shame

5. What to Watch: Shame

One film unfortunately overlooked by the Academy this year was Shame, director Steve McQueen's beautifully executed portrait of a sex addict, played by Michael Fassbender. It is brazenly honest yet gracefully subtle in its depiction one man's dependancy and troubled relationship with his sister (Carey Mulligan). Catch it while it's still in theatres, and watch this interview with Fassbender for more insight into the movie.
