5. Liftopia: Discount Lift Tickets Online

I'm headed for the snow soon and learned about a cool new service called Liftopia.com, a one-stop shop for discount lift tickets (up to 80% off on-mountain prices). They have over 120 participating ski resorts in North America, which means Liftopia is fast becoming the "Fandango" of the slopes. They also offer packages, whether it's for the beginner who wants lessons or the ski bunny chasing the powder. I've just signed up for Liftopia's custom deal alerts so they'll email me every time my favorite resorts are running specials. I'm crossing my fingers for an alert in Sun Valley next weekend.
