2. Taylor Momsen Truly Can Sing!I knew Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl was in a band but I had no idea how freaking amazing she is. I heard her song Make Me Wanna Die at the end of the movie Kick Ass (hilarious, edgy movie btw) and nearly had a heart attack when I googled the band The Pretty Reckless and found out that Momsen is the lead girl. Her voice is strong and rich, reminiscent of Shirley Manson from Garbage with touches of Poe and Fiona Apple. If you were a Jenny-hater (Momsen's character in GG), be prepared to have your mind blown. Outstanding. Listen here. |
