Last week Derek Lam, Tod's Creative Director, was fêted in San Francisco at a beautiful dinner hosted by fashion darling, Vanessa Getty.  Earlier at a shopping event, Derek convinced me to buy Tod's blue suede pumps rather than the basic black pair. It's not often a designer taps you on the shoulder and says "Go with that one," so I did and haven't been able to lay off of my blue suede shoes! --Gina Pell, Founder, 10.30.2009
