4. WikiLeaks

Australian internet activist, journalist, and hacker Julian Paul Assange is the face behind WikiLeaks, which is being described as the source of one of the largest leaks in U.S. military history. The topic is the Afghan War and the alleged details that have been concealed by the US – it is, of course,  too complex a story to sufficiently describe in a brief blurb, but here's an illuminating article about this controversial website on The Atlantic.
