 Darlings,
We had an amazing response to our bookclub query last week so don't forget to buy your book and join in the discussion at the end of next month. This week, in keeping with our Health & Wellness theme, we asked triathlete and Aim Fitness proprietor, Rachel Rodriguez, to give us her personal healthy eating grocery list. We also sent our resident editor to test some out-of-the-ordinary exercise classes. Here's to your health.

Splendora Healthy Eating Grocery List |
If you're like a deer in the headlights at the grocery store, you are not alone. Some of us have no clue what to buy when it comes to loading up on healthy staples. We asked triathlete, personal trainer, and gym proprietor Rachel Rodriguez where to start. She gave us her personal grocery list and we're passing it on to you.
For those of you in SF, try Rachel's upcoming Fit Camp. This three month intensive life change program gives you the kickstart you need to eat right, train smart, and look at fitness as a way of life--not a crash diet. If you are ready to commit, Rachel will change your life and your body.

HOOPING In hooping, there is one sound you should prepare to hear echoed throughout class. It's what Rosie calls "the sound of learning", the clatter of a hoop hitting the floorboards. Perfectionists must abandon ... [read more]
KINESIS Unlike your standard bench press, Kinesis is less constrictive and more dynamic, much like working out within a 360 degree orb of movement. Rather than being relegated to one machine, the Kinesis workout guides trainees through different ... [read more]
