Help! Looking for Baby Shower game ideas

Lovely Splendorinas, I need some help. I'm looking for some clever baby shower games and activiites that are good for a group of 20-30 fun girls. The best one I've heard is a custom mad libs (about couple, baby, etc.). Love that one, but need a few more (NO 'Smell the Stinky Diaper' or 'Baby Food Tasting Contests, please). Does anyone have tried and tested activiites that they AND the mom-to-be loved?? Please share!

my 2 cents

1) have a contest to see who can make the most words from the mom's name, dad's name, and/or baby's name if that's known.

2) i agree with melissa's comments about the baby bingo. it's tedious to create, but the guests are definitely entertained during the gift unwrapping part, which we all know goes on and on and on. the game actually speeds up that process. you can be really creative and funny with the squares. "operates on batteries" "someone says, 'i have that'" "white tissue paper" "homemade gift" "the mom to be goes to the bathroom" "onezie with a saying on it" "card with a bear on it" "gift most likely to be returned" "gift most likely to break"

3) guess how many m&ms are in a baby bottle

hope this helps!

Wellll...

I had the "taste the baby food" game at my shower so I'm no help there (though I would SO rock that game now!) A game that I would put together if I were to host a shower would be "Predict Baby's Future" where you can create a bunch of fill in the blanks about the soon-to-hatch baby. It could be anything from when he or she would take her first step to what kind of career little Junior will have. You can customize the questions to fit the history, likes and dislikes of the parents. Mom can then file the answers in the baby book and it'll be fun to look at later on. Also, Baby Bingo is nice for the gift portion, which always can get tedious.
