Has Beyonce Been Lying About Her Age? Beyonce has been lying about her age? Reports are starting to come out that Beyonce’s birth certificate has been leaked all around the web. It shows her being born September 4, 1976 and not 1981 that is listed in her Biography. This would make the former lead singer of Destiny’s Child 32 and not 26. I tried to research this crazy allegation a little more and I found on hollyscoop.com that they have a copy of her certificate. I don’t know of a single woman that has not lied about her age at least once in her life. Rather it is to be older or to be younger. I give the Dreamgirls star props for getting away with it this long. She has been in the business since 1996 and we are now picking up on the truth. With her being married to Hip-Hop legend Jay-Z who is 38 makes them closer in age and in the same generation X.

Age Discrepancy!
Hey, interesting post. If true, I, too, am surprised that she's gotten away for so long. But there's a discrepancy--the image of Beyonce's passport shows her birthdate as September 4, 1976, but Hollyscoop.com posted back in 2006 that Beyonce was born in 1974, and that's what the image on her site shows. If that's true, then Beyonce is actually almost 34! The mystery deepens...

Interesting...
Most 17-18 year olds are busy trying to pull off 21, and here's Beyonce doing the opposite. If I were in the band then, I'd totally have her making the beer runs.

I thought this rumor had been debunked? This first came out when the 2 of the orginal Destiny's Child's members left the group now it's back.
I just can't believe that Beyonce is older than me...and if she is well I don't really care because she looks great ...well most of the time ( she wears way to much makeup) :)
