I am a novelist and a huge fan of vintage fashion and classic style. I own a company called My Little Black Dress, an a site where women can go on and design their own dress that is flattering to their body type, the dresses then are made custom to the lady's measurements here in Los Angeles. This company reinvents the lost art of couture ( making dresses to order) and bring it into the 21st century. The dresses are the same price or less you would by a high end pret a porter ( ready to wear) dress.

What's in Your Closet?

A little bit of trendy, a little bit of classy and a whole lot of vintage. For modern, I tend to buy high end things and keep them until they wear out, and buy a few trendy items when I need to add some spice.

I am a serious collector of vintage clothing, in my collection, I have everything from Edwardian-1970's, but I tend to wear dresses from the 1960's most.
